What is a Seaside Proper Hostess?

A Seaside Proper Hostess partners with us to share our Spring/Summer collection in her community by hosting a trunk show. Hostesses create a warm, inviting setting where friends and customers can browse the new line, place orders, and enjoy a relaxed shopping experience that reflects the heart of Seaside Proper.

Hostesses host one show during the Spring/Summer season in their area.

• Applications open in November/December

• Spring/Summer Trunk Shows begin in January

You’ll receive a packed trunk of sample garments shipped directly to you — at no cost. You’ll unpack and display the samples, assist guests with their orders, and enter all orders into our online system.

When your show concludes, UPS will pick up the trunk and deliver it to the next hostess — all scheduled and paid for by Seaside Proper.

Hostess Responsibilities

• Read the Hostess Guide before your show.

• Check your email daily for updates during show season.

• Set up a simple, organized display for guests.

• Keep your trunk samples in good condition.

• Accurately record and enter all customer orders.

• Submit payments and paperwork by the stated deadline.

• Be ready for UPS pickup on your assigned date.
